Bethany enrolled in FAITH Center programs when she was elementary school age. She discovered her talent and love for the flute, singing, and acting. As a student at FAITH Center Bethany developed her talent and her love for the arts. Through FAITH Center opportunities, Bethany has traveled to Brazil, Jamaica, Norway, and Montreal as a flautist and a vocalist. Bethany uses her musical gifts to serve the local church.
Bethany graduated as a Music Major at County College of Morris and now she is continuing to work towards a career in Music Education with an applied in flute.
Kristen joined Faith Center when she was in the 7th grade. Through the Faith Center programs, Kristen was able to develop her skills as a vocalist, clarinetist and pianist. Kristen participated in Faith Center-sponsored musical theater productions and traveled internationally through the partnership with Powersurge Worship Ministries.
As a result of her experiences with FAITH Center Kristen was accepted at Montclair University to study Music Education with a concentration in Piano.
Kristen will be completing her program of study in December of 2010 with a grade point average of 3.93. Kristen is studying this summer at the prestigious Adamant Music School in Vermont.
Tim and his family joined the FAITH Center program when Tim was in elementary school. Through the various courses at FAITH Center Tim discovered his love for music. He learned to play the cello, the piano, and sing. He discovered his love for musical theater and used his talents and skills in various musical theater productions at FAITH Center. He performed in FAITH Center productions of "Honk", "Godspell", "Uncle Phil’s Diner" and "School House Rock."
Tim is continuing his musical studies at Taylor University where he is a Music Education Major with an emphasis on voice. Tim is involved in musical theater and opera at Taylor University. Tim is performing this summer in FAITH Center’s first summer theater camp. He is performing the part of Lazar Wolf in the production of "Fiddler on the Roof."
Laura began her musical studies at FAITH Center at age 6 as a Kindermusik student. She graduated from the FAITH Center in 2010 as High School Senior. Laura was involved in the vocal program, the instrumental program as a flautist and violinist, and member of the Coda Hand Bell Choir. Laura performed in both productions of Pilgrim's Progress as a soloist and a chorus member. Laura uses her musical talents in her home church every Sunday where she is actively involved in leading the congregation in worship.
Laura will be attending Westminster Choir College in the fall of 2010 as a Music Education Major with an applied in voice. Laura is a recipient of the Michael P. Davenport Merit Scholarship.
Eric joined the FAITH Center family as a High School student. At FAITH Center he continued his studies in percussion, voice and theater. While at FAITH Center Eric performed with the Percussion Ensemble, the Jazz Band, the Coda Large Ensemble, the Coda Choir, Coda Drama, the Musical Scenes Class, and the performances of Pilgrim's Progress I&II.
Eric is planning on continuing his studies in music at Raritan Valley Community College. Eric is a recipient of the Michael P. Davenport Merit Scholarship.
Jackie began her musical studies at FAITH Center as a Kindermusik Student. At FAITH Center Jackie discovered her love for music and immersed herself in musical activities. Through the FAITH Center programs Jackie learned to play the french horn and piano, sing, and act. Jackie had roles in the FAITH Center productions of "Honk", "Godspell", Schoolhouse Rock", "Uncle Phil's Diner", and "Pilgrim's Progress."
In the fall of 2010 Jackie will be attending County College of Morris preparing for a career in Music Therapy. During the summer of 2010 Jackie will be performing the role of Hodel in FAITH Center's summer production of "Fiddler on the Roof." Jackie is a recipient of the Michael P. Davenport Merit Scholarship.
Alyssa used FAITH Center to supplement her musical studies. As a violinist Alyssa was involved in the Coda Program where she performed with the Coda Large Ensemble. Alyssa traveled internationally through FAITH Center's partnership with Powersurge Worship Ministries. These experiences led her to pursue a degree in Music at Gordon College with a concentration in Violin.
Upon graduation Alyssa joined the teaching faculty at FAITH Center for the Arts where she teaches private and group violin at both the Randolph and the Sparta locations.
